Ive done some experiments within the last few months about expiring domains with PR to see if it’s worth your while to catch these expired and erased domains.
My idea why I’d want to use expired domains may be the idea that old domains are preferred than new domains, and to obtain immediate PR.
So I attempt to find deleted areas with PR that I could enroll. One characteristic of domains I was looking for was that the site still had a, and it was still listed in google.
I wont be mentioning the specific domains here as I want to handle the results and prevent folks from building backlinks to these domains.
I listed about 4 domains, some have PR2 and PR3. Some have a few pages listed, some have a few thousand. I also bought a couple of new domains for my new projects.

a. Old eliminate domains does contain traffic from existing backlinks. It still does produce some traffic, if the old area has a lot of backlinks.
